Association of Unaided Higher Educational Institutions (AUHEI), New Delhi has been established on 23rd November, 2022, by a handful of passionate philanthropists, at National Capital of the Country; the New Delhi. The area of operation of the Association is primarily the territory of the Republic of India. The Association is committed to disseminate information amongst the fellow Institutions across the country, students, teachers, academic leaders, Institutions builders, etc. about the Educational Fields and Opportunities or related matters through Functions, Centenary Celebrations, Programmes, Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Symposiums, Invited Talks, Refresher Courses, Training Programmes, Round Table Discussions, Career Counseling, Awards, Fellowships, etc, so as to motivate them for exploring better opportunities. Further, to ensure seamless implementation of NEP-2020, the Association, in coordination with other societies and Statutory bodies shall lay down policies and standards for implementing NEP-2020, including fostering the concept of cluster Institutions, for the benefits of the society at large and/or usage of technologies for overall national development and to assist other agencies including Govt. agencies in development and/or implementation of such policies and standards, from time to time, and bring out relevant publications.

To ensure a conducive ecosystem for sustainable growth of the Higher and Technical Education in the country.



To promote and represent the higher and technical education system, on national level, in partnership with Statutory Bodies, Government Departments, Academia, Corporates and Parents.



The aims and objects, for which the Association is established, are as follows:-

  1. To be and to act as the Association of Self-Financing Institutions called "ASSOCIATION OF UNAIDED HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (AUHEI) AFFILIATED TO GGSIP UNIVERSITY, NEW DELHI".
  2. To nurture and promote academies of excellence.
  3. To discuss, deliberate and act collectively for the matters relating to Admissions, Fee, Academics and Examination with GGSIP University and with various other Statutory bodies and Govt. Departments; like All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) / University Grants Commission (UGC) / Bar Council of India (BCI) / Department of Higher Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi / Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE), Govt. of NCT of Delhi / Ministry of Education, Govt. of India / Architecture Council of India / etc., so as to safeguard the interest of the member Institutions of the Association.
  4. To help in solving the matters, in any way, affecting the member Institutions of the Association.
  5. To make representation to Central or State Govt. or Local public or Semi¬-public authorities, executives or Legislative, on any matter directly or indirectly, on all the subjects relating to welfare of any and/or all member Institutions of the Association.
  6. To formulate the educational policies and programmes for the growth and development of the Association and to carry them out, in line with the recommendations of various Govt. bodies, from time to time.
  7. To foster a spirit of mutual help and goodwill amongst the member Institutions of the Association.
  8. To invest or deposit money, which shall be utilized for the common welfare of the member Institutions of the Association.
  9. To raise funds through grants, donations, subscriptions, etc.
  10. To publish Newsletters highlighting the activities of the member Institutions of the Association.
  11. To mange, transfer, pledge, dispose off or deal with any movable or immovable properties of the Association keeping in view the aims and objects of the Association.
  12. To disseminate information amongst the students, teachers and other younger generation of the society about the Educational Fields and Opportunities or related matters, so as to motivate them for better education and also help them to explore better opportunities. For this, the Association alone or with the help of other societies collectively may organize Functions, Centenary Celebrations, Programmes, Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Symposiums, Invited Talks, Refresher Courses, Training Programmes, Career Counseling, etc.
  13. To lay down policies and standards for implementing NEP-2020, including fostering the concept of cluster Institutions, for the benefits of the society at large and/or usage of technologies for overall national development and to assist other agencies including Govt. agencies in development and/or implementation of such policies and standards.
  14. To form or constitute sub/standing committees for Education, Training, Publication, Web Site, Research, Publication, Information and Communication Technologies, Finance, etc.
  15. To provide financial aid to the weaker sections including employment opportunities to the unemployed, scholarship to the poor and brilliant students.
  16. To do such other things / acts / activities which are necessary, and which may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the aims and objects of the Association.
  17. To file, withdraw, defend or compromise any suit, appeal, petition, application or any legal proceeding, civil, criminal, revenue or any other proceedings of any nature, whatsoever, in any court of law, office or department or before any tribunal and/or to authorize any reference to the arbitrator or arbitrators or reference by or on behalf of the Association and/or authorize person or persons to discharge the above functions, including the authority to sign and verify pleadings and to engage counsel(s).
  18. The aims and objects of the Association shall be purely for “CHARITABLE PURPOSE” and the advancement of any other objects of general public utility.
  19. All the acts / activities / programs shall be Non-Profitable and shall be done on "No Profit-No Loss" basis.
  20. The Association will invest its money and funds according to Sec. - 11(5) of Income Tax Act, 1961.
  21. All the incomes, earnings, gains, profits, surplus, movable / immovable properties of the Association shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objects only as set forth in the Memorandum of the Association (MoA) and no profit thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profits or in any other manner, whatsoever, to the present or the past members of the Association or to any person claiming through any one or more of the present or the past members. No member of the Association shall have any personal claim on any movable or immovable properties of the Association or make any profits, whatsoever, by virtue of his membership.
